Montagne Saint-Émilion, a picturesque and enchanting wine-growing village, is nestled in the heart of France's esteemed Bordeaux region. Renowned for its world-class vineyards and wines, specifically those produced under the prestigious Montagne-Saint-Émilion appellation, the village is part of the larger Saint-Émilion wine region, which enjoys a coveted spot on the UNESCO World Heritage List for its cultural landscape of vineyards, historic villages, and exceptional wines.
Ideally situated between Bordeaux and Bergerac, Clos de la Barbanne is only 5 kilometers (3 miles) away from the popular historic village of Saint-Émilion. The renowned wine appellations of Pomerol and Fronsac are also only a short drive away. Bordeaux, the region's major city is enjoyed by many for its architecture, art, and culture, is approximately 40 kilometers (25 miles) away and can be reached by car in under an hour.
